Charles Alexander joined the Royal Air Force on the 20th of September 1918 a Motor Mechanic by trade, a native of Norfolk. He arrived in France on the 2nd of November therefore just qualifying for the British War and Victory Medals. He was born in 1875 so to be fair he did try.
