Theodosius II (AD 402-450).

Gold Solidus, mint of Constantinople, c. AD 430-440.

Obverse: Diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust of Theodosius facing, holding spear and shield decorated with horseman motif.
Reverse: Constantinopolis seated left, holding globus cruciger and sceptre, CONOB in exergue.
