Gold Solidus, Milan AD 426-455.

Obverse: Diademed and draped bust of Valentinian III facing right, DN VALENTI-NIANVS P F AVG.
Reverse: Emperor standing facing, spurning captive with his foot and holding cross-topped sceptre. In left hand, Victory atop globe, crowning the emperor, VICTORI-A AVGGG, M-D, CONOB in exergue.
