Victoria (1837-1901), 1896, Crown, LX edge, old head coroneted and veiled left, T.B. below denoting engraver Thomas Brock, legend toothed border both sides, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP. Rev, Saint George on horseback slaying dragon, date in exergue, B.P. in upper right for Benedetto Pistrucci, edge inscription DECVS ET TVTAMEN ANNO REGNI LX (S.3937; ESC.311; Bull. 2601).
Even toning, some nicks in the portrait and one in the veil. Reverse more appealing in the tone, one nick under the horse amongst the lesser hairlines, mild signs of bag marking. Overall extremely fine in the strike with no visible weaknesses in any of the details.
