Victoria (1837-1901) Halfcrown, 1841, young head facing left with two fillets binding hair, plain truncation, date below. Legend reads VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, toothed border both sides. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms surrounded by laurel wreath, emblems below, legend reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF, edge milled (ESC.674 R3; S.3888; Bull. 2716).

Good extremely fine, olive tone with few surface marks, great detail in the Queens hair, the reverse shield comprehensive and full. An extremely rare key date in the series.
