William III (1694-1702), Halfcrown, 1698, first laureate and draped bust right, rev crowned cruciform shields, Lion of Nassau at centre, date above, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated DECIMO (ESC.554; S.3408).
Attractive light tone, light haymarking and weak in parts, minor metal flaw to edge at obverse 8 o’clock and a few light contact marks, otherwise practically extremely fine.
