William III (1694-1702), Shilling, 1697, first laureate and draped bust right, rev crowned cruciform shields, Lion of Nassau at centre, date above, edge milled (ESC.1091; S.3497).

Attractive light tone, some obverse die flaws and adjustment marks on portrait, a little soft of strike, otherwise extremely fine with some original bloom.
